I’m A Runner With Celiac’s. Here’s How ACV Has Helped Me.

My name is Colt Mack.  I’m a 29-year-old male living in Colorado. I am a runner who runs more recreational now after coming off of 15 years of competitive running through middle school, high school, collegiately and post collegiately. I never thought about diet all that much through my running career until I was diagnosed 1.5 years ago with Celiac’s Disease. I always had trouble-digesting dairy and it seemed like everything made me bloated.

Through this whole process, I found myself becoming more health cautious in terms of my nutrition, digestion, and what I put into my body. I wanted to avoid the trends and find remedies that were authentic and natural. I was always one who questioned celebrity endorsed marketing products that offered quick solutions. Some of my friends told me I should take Apple Cider Vinegar for my digestion. I could trust me them because they were naturalists who were known for natural remedies so I decided to give it a try. I soon found that this helped me in a number of ways.

Some of the ways it helped me:
    • Improved digestion
    • Provided satiety after meals to avoid over-eating in between meals
    • Made me feel more balanced

Being a runner and into working out, I drank beet juice for better circulation and improved cardio health. I also looked for ways to reduce inflammation. I soon discovered Ethan’s Apple Cider Vinegar at my local Whole Foods in Pittsburgh while training for my first half marathon.

ACV helps with my digestion and fights off that after-lunch sweet tooth at the office. As an avid distance runner who has retired from competitive running and transitioned into an office job, I’ve had to rethink my diet and how I approach my nutrition.  These shots seem to help me maintain weight by fighting those 4 PM sweet tooth cravings before leaving the office, have improved my digestion, and more. Go ACV!
